PARENT INFORMATION MEETING

May TBA at Fellowship Baptist Church, Back Building, 3624 Arlington Avenue in Riverside.

Recommended for those wanting to get involved in Riverside Youth Theatre. We answer common questions that parents have. No appointments necessary to attend. Registration for the Summer (June-July) session: 1) Continuing RYT students at the beginning of the meeting 2) New students at the end of the meeting. No early registrations. First come, first served.

SUMMER MUSICAL: Bye Bye Birdie

Auditions and Callbacks have been held for Bye Bye Birdie. We are still looking to cast 2 older teen/college aged girls for the roles of Doris MacAfee and Gloria Rasputin. If interested, please e-mail us at RiversideYouthTheatre@msn.com.

SPRING REHEARSAL & CLASS SCHEDULE (May-July 2013):

Monday: Bye Bye Birdie Rehearsal 4-6 pm

Tuesday: Classes (Musical Theatre Dance and Group Voice through July) 4-6 pm

Wednesday: Bye Bye Birdie Rehearsal 4-6 pm

Thursday: Classes (Theatre 102/Intermediate Acting, Preschool Theatre through May 30), Bye Bye Birdie Rehearsals (for soloists/small groups) 4-6 pm

Saturday: Bye Bye Birdie Rehearsal 9-11 am (for songs including parents and students)

NATIONAL YOUTH ARTS AWARDS CEREMONY

Sunday, June 16 @ 6 pm in Loats Theatre, 600 Irvine Avenue, Newport Harbor High School, Newport Beach. Nominations and awards for July 2012-May 2013 performances will be announced by the first week of June. More information to follow!
