CLASSES OFFERED for the 2012-2013 SEASON

Group Voice (Tuesday, 1 hour, 4-5 pm or 5-6 pm, Limited to 12 Students of Mixed Ages, only 4th Grade & Up, Offered Year Round) * Debbie Wolgemuth, Instructor

Dance for Musical Theatre (Tuesday, Elementary 4-5 pm, 6th grade-Teens 5-6 pm, Offered Year Round)  * Hannah Wolgemuth, Instructor

ACTING (Thursday, 4:00-5:30 pm, Limited to Students in 4th Grade & Up)  Theatre 101 (Beginning Acting/Becoming a Character Actor, Offered Once a Year in the Winter Session), Theatre 102 (Intermediate Acting, Offered Once a Year in the Spring Session), Theatre 103 (Advanced Acting, Offered Every Other Year) * Debbie Wolgemuth, Instructor

Theatre for Preschoolers (Thursday, 4-5 pm, Not offered during the summer) * Aaron Wolgemuth, Instructor

Tuesday: Group Voice, Musical Theatre Dance

Thursday: Theatre 102/Intermediate Acting (for those who already have taken Theatre 101), Theatre for Preschoolers, Theatre for Special Needs


ADDITIONAL SEMINARS $20

Classes with professionals providing feedback in the areas of voice and acting.

Audition Seminar  * Saturday, March 16 9-11 am  * Are you frustrated with the audition process?  Do you want to be more successful in auditioning?  What song should I pick?  What should I avoid?  How do I prepare?

Vocal Master Seminar  * TBA  * Participate or observe elementary & teen students receiving immediate feedback from a professional voice or acting teacher.

Theatre Makeup Application Seminar  * Fall TBA * 2 hour seminar to teach you how to apply your own theatre makeup.  This is an important part of an actor’s theatre education.

Wild & Wacky Improvisation  * April TBA * 2 hour seminar to experiment and strengthen your acting skills.

CLASS REGISTRATION

Registration for the Spring session of classes is on Thursday, March 14 at 7 pm (at the end of the Parent Information Meeting) at Fellowship Baptist Church. Please be prepared to pay your complete registration at that time, complete a registration form and emergency medical form.

LATE REGISTRATION

Monday, April 8 from 4-6 pm at Fellowship Baptist Church.  Be prepared to complete registration paperwork and pay registration fee on that day.  We will not be able to register students at the first class for the Spring session.  No late registrations after the first week of classes (April 11).  If you missed registering in time for the Spring session, you can get involved in the Summer Session (June-July), Fall Session (September-November) or Winter Session (January-February).

 

REGISTRATION FEES
1. $80 for 8 weeks of classes.   The entire fee is due at registration.  Effective January 2013, there are no discounts offered for our classes.
2. No refunds are issued for classes missed or if you quit halfway through the session.  No refunds are issued after the first week if you decide to drop your class.

3. If you take a voice and dance class during the session, you would pay for two class registrations. (Example:  $80 (voice) + $80 (dance) = $160.)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    4. Classes are optional and are not a requirement to participate in our musicals. They will help your child improve in their theatre skills.
